My main medium is clay, because it is so responsive to touch, but I also draw and paint.  I make art to feel at home in the world. It is my voice, where words are inadequate. 

Keeping a loose hold on clay allows for greater ease of movement and gesture.

I live in northwestern Pennsylvania with my husband and many pets.  When I'm not in my studio I'm out walking the woods and fields, observing nature with all of it's mysteries, both great and small.

My work can be found in numerous collections and galleries.

I was educated in art at Temple University, Tyler School of Art, The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, and Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
